About

Furriery Dvoravić is involved in turning tanned fur into clothing items, which very much makes it an artisan fashion craft. As Gordan Dvoravić points out, he obtains the fur in Western Europe, North and South America. It should be noted that he obtains different types of fur. They can make all kinds of fur clothing items, but mostly they make unique fur coats, jackets and head coverings.

Considering their long-standing tradition, they have plenty of steady customers that always come back during the winters season. When low temperatures subside and warm weather kicks in, furriery Dvoravić mostly does repairs, sewing and cleaning clothing items.

“Regular cleaning is extremely important when you a have good fur clothing item. It would be wise to perform the cleaning at a furriery where the hair will be brought to shine”, Goran says.

Each fur type is special and put the leather together depends on the texture, position, height of the hair and colour so making a single clothing item takes a long time. Today most of their work is custom-made. They do their very best to keep up with the latest trends given that a fur coat is no longer considered to be a status symbol, but as a functional item.

In conclusion, Goran Dvoravić says that a fur coat is a long-lasting piece that can always be altered if it’s made from quality fur.
