The workshop existing for more than sixty years already was founded by chance. On several occasions Mr. Šulevski handcrafted some jewelry and, seeing that the interest for his work was growing, he employed some people and completely dedicated himself to making jewelry. The business has been delighting its loyal customers to this day.
The Šulevski family thus courageously embarked on a life adventure trying to find their place under the sun in the world of jewelry. At first they handcrafted and sold costume jewelry that stood out from similar products in their trade at the time. The reason behind this was the design created and perfected by the founders of the workshop, who gradually made it one of the best known names of the trade in former Yugoslavia.

The tradition was continued by Vlado’s son Željko, and is now maintained by Željko’s son Vladimir, who has completely dedicated himself to further improving the production process. At this moment Nicky is rediscovering the passion that goes back to the very beginnings – (unique) gold and silver jewelry making. Absorbing the rich and valuable experience of previous generations, Nicky focuses most of its energy on the design and quality of its products while at the same time putting on every piece of jewelry its own and unique signature.
What sets them apart from others is the use of modern technology. In the making process they use a 3D printer. After making a model with a few thousand layers and checking every minor detail, they put it into a cast. Then they put the cast into a special furnace and heat it to 1000 degrees Celsius. The wax burns away and precious metal flows in through the resulting openings in the cast.
They can check the tiniest details both in terms of appearance and in terms of technical aspects before they begin making gorgeous jewelry. The workshop that measures around two hundred square meters is only thirty meters away from the store, in the very center of Zagreb; it is there that your wishes are turned into reality.
They specialize in the manufacture of silver jewelry and silver processing, and in making precious metal articles to order. Customers can bring their own sketches, and after the design phase and the acquisition of the required material it is time for ingot casting (into silver or metal plates), followed by rolling, sawing, forming, grinding, and polishing. The possibilities are endless.
Everything here is handmade. When you receive earrings, rings, or a necklace made to order, you are bound to join a large number of satisfied customers who keep coming back to this warm, family craft shop.
