Biserka Jakšić holds a degree in Applied Arts, which has had a profound influence on her work. Her jewellery shop has been protected by the City Office for the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Heritage. She had taken part in collaborative jewellery exhibition for a number of years, but she has also organised several independent ones such as her Art Deco-inspired exhibition held in the Museum of Arts and Crafts. She says that jewellery design is an extremely important aspect of being a jeweller. Thanks to her extensive experience her handmade jewellery is second to none.

The collection “Glagolitic script – a series to remember” is a particular standout and tourists love it as well. She has taken part in innumerable fairs and shows such as Zlatna Igla (Golden Needle). Her workshop possesses an artisan stamp, while her craft has been proclaimed and protected as Zagreb’s cultural heritage.
Biserka’s work is almost entirely custom-made and she mostly reuses the gold brought in by the customers themselves. Her work is exclusively handmade and it encompasses the finest jewellery making techniques. In addition to her own design, she also performs onerous jewellery montage and stone setting which have almost completely faded into oblivion.
