About

In addition to their original shop in 13 Radićeva Street, their tie salon is located at 27 Radićeva Street.

Josip points out that this small, but important clothing item can make all the difference when it comes to a man’s overall appearance. You can tell by a man’s tie how much importance he places on his appearance. All ties are handmade modern designs and they’re made from silk. They’re adorned with different motifs with the Glagolitic script, Croatian interlace and red and white checkerboard being the most recognisable ones. Classic monochrome ties are also sought after with a wide and narrow version available. Aside from ties, they also offer bow ties, shawls and women’s scarves. These authentic Croatian products are capturing tourists. Primarily tourists from Asia, the United States and Canada as well as Europe. The salon gives customers a chance to see an old sewing machine, sample materials and how ties and other products are made.

“Seeing a finished tie and a happy customer is what makes me feel good. Positive feedback means a lot to us. We also feel great when our customers recommend us to their friends and family. We keep up with the latest trends when it comes to colours and models in order to stay competitive. Even though this may not be the best time to be an artisan, we are willing and determined to keep our family’s tradition alive”, Josip explains.
